The Ryobi RY18LMX46A‑0 battery-powered lawn mower is designed to efficiently handle grass surfaces up to 500 s.q. m. It works with two 18V 5.0 Ah batteries from the ONE+ line (not included), used simultaneously to ensure greater power and extended autonomy. The brushless motor automatically adjusts the blade speed to the density of the lawn, optimising both performance and energy consumption.

Its strengths include:excellent autonomy provided by the batteries connected in series, the efficiency of the brushless motor, flexibility in height adjustment and a design that facilitates use and optimises storage space.

The telescopic handle is height-adjustable to suit the operator and folds vertically for compact storage. The model is compatible with the Ryobi ONE+ system, so batteries and battery chargers (not included) can be shared with other tools in the range.

With a cutting width of 46 cm, it allows you to cover medium to large areas with fewer passes. The cutting height, adjustable with a central lever to 10 positions (from 25 to 100 mm), is easily set with one hand. The large 55-litre grass catcher allows you to work longer without interruption, and the included mulching plug finely shreds the grass and releases it back onto the ground.

The 18 V, 5 Ah batteries are located in the centre of the front part .

Simply lift the protective cover and remove the batteries to recharge them.

The 18V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (like modern smartphone batteries, it has no memory effect) so that it is always ready for use. It lasts on average 3 times longer than a normal battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charge indicator and an activation button to prevent the tool from being switched on accidentally.

Advantages of the battery-powered electric motor

• More reliable than a combustion engine, thanks to its electric motor. It has no spark plugs, filters, fuel lines, carburettors, etc., i.e. components that are prone to problems
• Much lighter
• Zero maintenance, for the same reasons as above
• Lower consumption and drastically reduced operating costs compared to combustion models (cutting can be carried out with just a few pence worth of electricity). Furthermore, there is no need to always procure fuel (which should always be fresh).
• Zero vibrations, again thanks to the electric motor. On the other hand, almost all combustion systems, which are not equipped with an anti-vibration system on steel springs, have a very high degree of vibration, making work very uncomfortable
• Zero fumes, zero damage to the environment and, above all, to the health of those who use it
• Much quieter and therefore more pleasant to use than combustion engines

The machine is a traditional 3-in-1 model with rear discharge, collection bag and mulching.

BAG COLLECTION:

allows you to collect grass in the special 55-litre grass collector. The basket is equipped with a handle for removal.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

allows you to cut the grass without using the grass collector, depositing it directly at the rear of the lawn mower.

MULCHING CUTTING:

using the mulching plug allows you to deposit the grass clippings to fertilise the soil

The handle can be easily removed for storage or transport using the two knobs. Its length is also adjustable.

The main controls are located on the handlebar. To operate the machine, press the central button and simultaneously press the 2 start buttons.

The handlebar is also adjustable to two different heights.
