The Rover Marina 20 electric transfer pump is a bronze bidirectional electric pump. This is a product made in Italy. Rover Pompe is the world leader in the manufacture of transfer pumps and filters for use in the wine industry.

Self-priming Two-Way Electric Pumps: This is a classic self-priming two-way pump with a side liquid ring and star-shaped impeller.

This particular type of hydraulic design gives it an extraordinary self-priming capacity even in the presence of discontinuous availability of liquid in the suction line (presence of air or other gases).

The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) with characteristics of hardness and grain size such as not to wear the internal surfaces of the transfer pump.

In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter mounted on the suction pipe may be useful.
