DUAL-SENSE SELF-PRIMING ELECTRIC PUMPS: This is the classic DUAL-SENSE self-priming pump with a side liquid ring and a star-shaped impeller. This particular type of hydraulic design gives it extraordinary self-priming capacity even when the liquid supply is discontinuous (presence of air or other gases). It is suitable for the delicate transfer of filtered liquids. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) with characteristics of hardness and grain size such as not to wear the internal surfaces of the transfer pump. In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter mounted on the suction pipe may be useful.
It shares the same characteristics as the classic line of bronze transfer pumps, with the only difference being the BY-PASS system.
