CYLINDRA 9900 rotating plucker machine is a sturdy, effective and easy-to-clean machine.
It has been designed to be employed with different poultry species (chickens, guinea fowls, geese, ducks, etc.), except quails and similar.
You can pluck several animals (according to their weight) up to a total weight of about 6kg simultaneously.
After soaking the animal in hot water, in order to ensure that plucking is performed easily and without damage to the skin, place it in the plucker basket and close the lid.
The rotating frame also rotates the animal: the repeated contact with the rubber picker sticks allows a quick and efficient plucking.
A water washing system makes it easier to remove plumage inside Cylindra.

Depending on the type of animal to be plucked, follow the instructions below.
CHICKENS AND HENS: soak them in water at 58°/62°C for about 1.5min., avoiding scalding the animal's skin.
PALMIPEDS (ex. GEESE AND DUCKS): soak them in water at 58°/62°C for about 2,5-3min., avoiding scalding the animal's skin. In order to facilitate the operation, it is advisable to lift the animal's plumage with a small rake.
In both cases, check that the plumage is effortless released and then introduce the animal into the plucker. Switch on the machine and operate it until plucking is complete (about 30 seconds). Small residues of plumage is usual and will have to be removed by hand.
AT THE END OF OPERATION, CLEAN THE PRODUCT THOROUGHLY.
