Self-priming double-action electric pumps: This is the classic self-priming double-action pump with side liquid ring and star-shaped impeller.
This particular type of hydraulic design gives it an extraordinary self-priming capacity even when the liquid supply is discontinuous (presence of air or other gases).
It is suitable for the delicate transfer of filtered liquids in agriculture, oenology, boating and gardening.
The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) with characteristics of hardness and grain size such as not to wear the internal surfaces of the transfer pump.
In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter mounted on the suction pipe may be useful. Examples of liquids are: water, wine, milk, must, liquid detergents, diesel and glycol. This type of pump is not suitable for transferring oil.
