The Philips Airfryer Series 20 00 XL air fryer is a compact appliance, suitable for cooking food that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, thanks to the use of RapidAir technology. This system uses a flow of hot air generated by a 1700 W heating element combined with a patented starfish-shaped cooking chamber to distribute heat evenly and quickly. There is no need to preheat the appliance: heat is delivered immediately, helping to reduce energy consumption and preparation time.
This 6.2-litre Philips air fryer allows you to prepare up to 800 grams of food at a time. It is therefore suitable for preparing meals for families of 3 to 5 people. The removable basket, coated with BPA-free non-stick material, can be conveniently washed in the dishwasher. The transparent window with integrated interior lighting allows you to monitor the cooking status without having to interrupt the process.
The digital touchscreen panel provides direct access to 9 preset programmes, including frozen chips, meat, fish, chicken legs, vegetables and desserts. You can also use 13 cooking modes, including grilling, roasting, baking, reheating, defrosting, keeping warm and drying. The temperature settings are adjustable between 60°C and 200°C, while the timer can be set for up to 60 minutes.
From an aesthetic point of view, the design is modern and functional, with black/silver colouring and matt finishes. The machine body is compact, measuring 404 x 309 x 308 mm, and weighs 4.3 kg. Non-slip feet, automatic shut-off, cool-touch exterior walls and heat-resistant handles are included for added safety during use.
