The MOSA GE S-5000 BBM AVR EAS petrol-powered generator is equipped with a powerful Briggs&Stratton XR1450 engine and a Linz alternator. One of the most features of this generator model is the practical electric starter with key, which allows easily start the unit and it also ensures a quick connection with the ATS panel.

Moreover, the generator is equipped with AVR, which controls the voltage. This generator model can express a maximum single-phase power output of 4.5 kW.

It is powered by a a Briggs&Stratton XR1450 petrol engine 302 cc, which is able to reach 8.8 HP. It has a 20 L petrol tank, which allows extended use of the machine.

The alternator is manufactured by LINZ, a leading Italian company that produces high-efficiency, high-quality alternators.

The generator is also able to guarantee a running time of 10.5 H (75% of PRP).

The anti-vibration pads placed both under the engine and under the alternator will significantly reduce vibrations and increase the stability of the generator.

The generator is not designed for energy production, charging or maintaining batteries for the photovoltaic or solar panels systems (or similar); this can seriously damage the generator.

The ATS board is compatible with the Mosa EAS single-phase generator.

The ATS board must be connected to the electric grid and the generator.

This allows to compensate immediately when there is a power outage.

This features is necessary for all those cases in which, a black out for example, could create economic, material damages or major inconveniences.

It is recommended to execute the connection of the AUTOMATIC INTERVENTION BOARD to your household with the help of your electrician.

The panel is equipped with a digital display that shows some useful advice for the management of the generator.

The ATS panel is equipped with six different types of setting:

• RESET: locks the panel and resets the alarm code
• AUT: places the panel in Automatic running
• MAN: places the panel into Manual running
• TEST: activates and deactivates the Automatic Test
• START: starts the generator in manual running
• STOP: stops the generator into manual running
• GEN: closes the group contactor in manual operation
• MAINS: closes the mains contactor in manual operation
• MEAS: select the measure to be shown on the display

The manual also indicates all the meanings of the relative alarms and signal LEDs.

It comes complete with 10 m power cable.

The best criteria is to pinpoint first which are the instruments we need to power with the generator and, consequently perform a simple calculation, as explained below, to identify the needed power that the generator need to eject.

The starting coefficient is a fundamental characteristic of any instrument which works with electric current because it indicates how much the consumption of the object increases. Therefore, this is needed to concretely determine how many WATT are necessary during the start up operations.

Example: Compressor (1500 Watt ) X Starting coefficient (2) = 3000 Watt Hence you should orientate towards a generator which has a WATT power equal or superior to the result (*)
