We recommend using only clean, dry grain. The proof of dryness is achieved when the grain shakes vigorously under pressure from a spoon on a hard surface. Wet cereals, on the other hand, can be easily crushed and then become similar to oatmeal.
This mill is ideal for grinding a wide range of grains: soft wheat (such as spelt, rye or wheat), hard wheat (such as millet, maize, rice), spices (pepper, chilli pepper, mustard seeds) and pulses (chickpeas, peas, beans) into high quality flours. It is also suitable for various types of roasted seeds, including coffee.
However, it should be noted that it is not recommended for oil seeds, such as flax, poppy or sesame. It is possible to grind them, but it is necessary to mix them in a 1:1 ratio with durum wheat seeds during grinding.
It should be noted that this mill has also been tested with gluten-free cereals, confirming its versatility.
