The YLM 354S VV is a powerful, reliable and very versatile lawn mower. It is equipped with a powerful Yamaha MA190 engine, with 5 Hp of rated power and low profile with heavy-duty transmission, aluminium gearbox and bronze gears to optimise the size and durability of the engine.

This lawn mower model is provided with 52 cm cutting width. It can be also adjusted through a centralised lever in 5 different positions, from 20 mm to 65 mm.

Centralised cutting height adjustment system: possibility to adjust the cutting height by means of a single lever.

Four 200-280 mm large galvanised metal wheels featuring double sealed bearings, which are moist resistant and allow a professional cut even on not perfectly levelled lawns. They are mounted on ball bearings for ensuring to the lawn mower the maximum ease of movement.

The rubber-coated handlebar id equipped with a micrometric device for adjusting the handlebar height. By means two side quick levers (open and close) it is possible to adjust the handlebar height according to the Operator’s needs.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM

This system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector, and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.

Immediate conversion: you will just need to pull out the grass collector, enter the standard-supplied mulching plug and lower the rear deflector in order to engage the mulching system.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:
This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM

This system allows mowing grass without collecting the clippings inside the grass collector (it is also possible to collect grass a bit higher than normal, due to the high disposal capacity of the side discharge deflector).

Leaving the mulching plug entered, in order not to occlude the rear discharge of the grass, simply lift the black cover on the housing side and enter the side deflector supplied with a simple gesture.

GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM:

The lawn mower is equipped with a 70 L hybrid grass collector, very easy to remove and empty.

The lower part is made of plastic, which gives strength and sturdiness, avoiding the canvas to tear if in contact with the lawn.

Convenient handle placed on the upper part of the grass collector to make it easy to remove and empty when full.

Grass collector full level indicator: the switch rises when the grass collector is full.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

This system allows mowing grass without using the grass collector, discharging the grass clippings directly from the back of the lawn mower.

Simply remove the grass collector and the rear discharge will automatically operate.
