The Intex Krystal Clear 26638 cartridge filter pump is a filtration system designed for water purification in above-ground pools, with a maximum flow rate of 3,785 litres/hour (actual system flow rate 2,687 litres/hour).
It is mainly used for medium-sized swimming pools equipped with 32 mm connections, where it ensures continuous filtration to keep the water clear and free of debris.
The cartridge filter pump features a Dacron paper cartridge. Once connected to the swimming pool with the appropriate fittings, the pump draws in the water, conveys it through the cartridge, which retains the impurities, and returns the clean water to the pool.
The cartridge should be replaced every two weeks to ensure optimal performance. The white plastic cylindrical structure with top cover makes routine maintenance easier.
