The Greenworks GD48SC36 battery-powered Lawn Scarifier is a lightweight and easy-to-use product, ideal for lawn care in your garden.

Equipped with a blade and spring rotor:

The 16-blade steel rotor on ball bearings scarifies the soil, acting vertically and deeply thanks to its blades, improving oxygenation, drainage and nutrient uptake.

Why use an aerator:

• Over time, lawns tend to create a layer of thatch that blocks oxygenation of the soil, causing the lawn to suffer.
• It is advisable to use an aerator to remove the layer of thatch and create grooves in the soil that will promote contact with the air, fertilisation and thickening of the lawn.

The spring-loaded rotor combs the lawn, removing the layer of Velcro and moss that has formed and preventing it from growing back.

ATTENTION:

Aeration MUST be carried out with the garden previously and thoroughly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering the electric motor and damaging it. Furthermore, moist soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)

* The right time for this operation is in spring, after the very first mowing and depending on the area and type of climate (generally around March/April). To keep your lawn looking beautiful, it is advisable to repeat the treatment in autumn, thus removing the hardest moss.

This product is equipped with two different types of rotors, which are easily interchangeable:

Spring rotor: suitable for 'aeration', it consists of a sturdy spring roller.

With this rotor, the turf is lightly combed thanks to its steel spring design, which pinches and tears away thatch and moss (also preventing regrowth).

Blade rotor: suitable for "scarifying". It consists of a steel roller with 16 fixed blades.

This rotor provides more intensive care for the lawn, acting in depth. The 16 sharp blades penetrate the turf vertically, achieving complete removal of moss, thatch and weeds.
The result: the lawn is regenerated, improving oxygenation, drainage and nutrient uptake.

Quick rotor replacement system:
