At the front of the lawnmower is the housing for the batteries.

Simply lift the cover, insert or remove the battery to recharge it with the supplied charger.

The Greenworks 24/48V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (like modern smartphone batteries, it has no memory effect) to always have it ready for use. It lasts on average 30 times longer than a normal battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charge indicator and an activation button to prevent unwanted tool starts.
