The large working size enables the machine to carry out a quick, handy and efficient work on any type of ground.

Reversible flail mower with side shift and hydraulic jack suitable for different operations (grass, pruning, staw, etc.)

Suitable for reversible tractors and for tractors with front attachment. It can be applied to tractors in both frontal and rear position.

The hydraulic side shift is on chromed guide.

Side trasmission with 4 belts, spherical barrel roller bearings, rear roller, and lubricated gearbox.

Reversible system

The reversible flail mower is suitable for tractors with front or rear attachment. It can be linked to the tractor in frotal or in rear position.

It is suitable for the shredding of grass, bushes and brambles. In general, it is suitable for the cleaning of open fields.

High quality smooth hammer flails.

The finely shred grass and sarments and rolls the turf at the same time. Thanks to the high numero of engine rotations (540 rpm) and the high number of hammer flails it reduces the wafe effect of the turf and carries out an excellent shredding operation.

Hydraulic side shift and fixed 3 points linkage

Side movement actioned by means of an hydraulic cylinder. Provided with two fast linkage tubes to be connected to the tractor’s hydraulic joints.

It is very solid movement, structured by means of a chromed steel rod that protects the shift against small accidental hits.

Focus on the joints, very close to the machinery frame , and not protuberant. This allows the flail mower to work very close to the tractor, avoiding the stone is thrown towards the operator and mostly eliminating any possibility the machinery could be lifted as its weight will charge the tractor in a minor way. This allows the machinery connection despite its big weight, also to tractors of minor mass and dimensions compared to it.

Side belt transmission and reduction gearbox group

Gearbox in oil bath. The casing is made of cast and the inner gears are made of tempered steel.

Side 4 big section belts transmission (the most part of the flail mowers on market have a 2 belt transmission)

Belt protection side shield, with optimized dimension of low thickness. This kind of side shield save room on the product’s total width making it smallest product on market compared with their working width. Considering the room taken from the carter and the skid on the opposite side, the total flail mowers width is just 20 cm more than the cutting width!!

Focus on the greaser side transmission, easy to access from a dedicated opening.

Double protection of the drivan and greaser.

Standard 1 3/8" z6 power take-off PTO (suitable for each model of recently manufactured tractors): whether you are dealing with older tractors, it is recommended to previously check that they provide the same power take-off type featuring the standard right/clockwise rotation.

Recommendations for Use - Tractor-mounted Fixed Flail Mowers

To ensure correct operation, a longer service life and safe working conditions, it is essential to use the tractor-mounted flail mower in accordance with the instructions set out in the user manual and the machine’s technical specifications. Incorrect use may result in premature wear of components, reduced performance or damage not covered by the warranty.

Before starting work, always check that the tractor is compatible with the flail mower by verifying the required power, hitch type and intended operating conditions. Correct matching of the machine and the tractor ensures optimum performance and prevents the transmission from being overloaded.

Use the flail mower exclusively on suitable surfaces: the machine is designed for grass shredding, wild vegetation, plant residues and materials compatible with the machine’s category. Avoid contact with unintended objects such as stones, metal, plastic or other foreign bodies.
Adjust the working height correctly: maintaining an adequate distance from the ground reduces the impact on the cutting units and limits excessive stress on the machine’s structure.
Do not operate the machine where there are hidden obstacles or unsuitable ground conditions: ditches, stumps, exposed roots, loose stones or uneven ground can cause sudden impacts and damage to the cutting parts or transmission components.
Do not use the flail mower for operations other than shredding: the machine must not be used for earthmoving, ground levelling or other applications not specified by the manufacturer.
Always adjust the forward speed to suit the working conditions: excessive speed can reduce the quality of the shredding, increase vibrations and subject the machine to stresses greater than those for which it was designed.
Avoid using the machine on excessively damp material: wet grass or particularly damp vegetation can cause material to build up inside the machine, reducing its efficiency.
Do not force the tractor forward: if the rotor slows down, vibrations increase or cutting capacity decreases, speed must be reduced and the work adapted to the conditions of the ground and vegetation.
Check the condition of the cutting components regularly: worn, damaged or missing blades, hammers or other cutting elements can compromise the machine’s operation and increase vibrations during use.
Carry out periodic checks and routine maintenance: check that components are correctly tightened, inspect the condition of the transmission components and ensure the machine is generally clean to maintain its efficiency and safety.

Use of the power take-off (PTO):

The tractor’s power take-off (PTO ) must be used in accordance with the rotational speed specified by the flail mower manufacturer. An incorrect rotational speed may compromise the machine’s operation, causing overheating, accelerated wear or excessive stress on mechanical components.

When attaching and detaching the flail mower, the power take-off must always be disengaged and the tractor switched off. It is also necessary to check that the PTO shaft is correctly installed and has sufficient clearance to move freely while working.
