GeoTech PGT 900 Garden Tiller with 7 Hp Petrol Engine

This is a classic garden tiller model equipped with a powerful 7 Hp engine and a traditional sturdy gearbox in oil bath equipped with 2 forward gears and a reverse gear.

The GeoTech PGT 900 is a garden tiller suitable for heavy-duty intense work on even hard and untilled soil.

This garden tiller model weighs 72 Kg: which is a definite plus as the weight helps with ground penetration.

This model is intended for large-sized land to till or hard ground or with the presence of small stones (where a smaller-sized, more lightweight garden tiller or equipped with a less sturdy transmission, such as belt-driven models would not be able to work as effectively).

Transportation kit with pneumatic wheels, which allow to easily transport the garden tiller included.

The correct term would be "Commercial” Power, meaning the standard definition used until a few years ago by all well-known engine manufacturers.

Rated power: 5.16 Hp
It corresponds to the real power delivered by the motor shaft. This is the power indicated as official in the engine instructions manual.

The engine is PROVIDED WITHOUT OIL.
Please carefully read the instruction manual before starting the unit.

Gearbox and upper transmission

The gearbox supplied as standard is an excellent 2+1 gearbox.

Its main features are:

overall size and sturdiness, also visually detectable
upper gear tempering
precise gear shifting engagement
accuracy in gear manufacturing

It features 2 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, which can be engaged by means of the lever on the control panel.

Focus on the PTO, which is protected by a sturdy housing.

Engine and transmission PROVIDED WITHOUT OIL.

We recommend topping up the lubricating oil 1.8 L SAE80W-90 (for the transmission) to the level shown in the picture.

Adjustable 80 cm tine

Sturdy tine mounted on an hexagonal-shaped central shaft, and provided with six elements with 4 steel rotary hoes each.

Tine working width: 80 cm

Hexagonal shaft diameter: 23 mm.

The tine can be adjusted by simply removing an element on each side. This way, the width would be reduced up to 60 cm.

Transmission in oil bath

The transmission is among the sturdiest on the market.

It mounts a pinion and a crown gear in oil bath.

Kit for garden tiller transport

The garden tiller is shipped with a kit for easy transport.

Easy manoeuvrability of the garden tiller on any type of soils thanks to the two sturdy pneumatic wheels.

Just remove the wheels and install the tines with a simple operation (where no assembly tools are required) in order to start tilling the soil.

Adjustable steering handles and controls

The steering handles are height and laterally adjustable thanks to the double regulating lever system made of cast steel.

The controls are divided into:

red lever which operates the tines: black clutch lever which operates the machine according to the gear that is set, before operating the lever press the grey safety button to lock the handle.
lower black lever on the right: engages the reverse gear.
throttle lever
ON/OFF switch

Carefully check the proper adjustment of all the cables before use. Focus on the cable of the reverse gear right lever.

It is also absolutely essential to check the correct assembly and connection of ground wire, along with the proper functioning of the red safety lever (as soon as the lever is released the garden tiller must be immediately stopped!)
