GeoTech GGSA3000ES Petrol Generator

GeoTech GGSA3000ES single-phase petrol powered generator:

GG: "Gasoline" generator, petrol generator;

S: "Semi silent" generator;

A: "Aluminium", it refers to the alternator case material;

3000: Maximum power output (KVA).

ES: "Electric Start", we are focusing on an electrically powered generator.

This generator is built into a solid and sturdy frame with square tubes made of enamelled steel. It has been also engineered to be fitted with wheel and handle kit.

The GGSA3000ES is a 6.5 Hp petrol powered generator of 196 cc. It consists of aluminium alternator winding and an electric start and it is able to generate up to 2.7 Kw maximum output power and a AVR card that allows an automatic output voltage regulation maintaining it constant even in case of sudden changes in load.

The 12 L fuel tank capacity allows the generator running for a longer period of time. On the other hand, the control panel is a set of many displays which is responsible for the measurement of various parameters like voltage, current and frequency. It consists of a voltmeter, 16A-250V Schuko double outlet, 12V battery charger, stop button and oil level warning light.

Compared to all the standard electric generators, this GeoTech model shows a sturdy enclosure on 3 side walls, which has been specifically designed to protect the power source from damage, dirt and dust and it is even responsible for sound attenuation by considerably reducing noise emissions. This important feature gives the possibility to refer to this machine as a semi silent generator with 85 dB(A)/7m Maximum sound intensity.

WARNING: all these models of generators that do not belong to the PROFESSIONAL series (considering the product level evaluation used by our website) are not intended for more than 3-4 hours continuous work in order not to reduce the alternator durability as well as that of one of the other machine components due to the unit overheating or wear. As regards a home or intensive use of these generators, it is important to follow the indications mentioned above. Control panel

This generator control panel shows a number of different functions.

  • Voltmeter, which is used for measuring the output power into the power outlet.
  • Electric battery start: whenever the engine is working, you just have to turn the key in its START position in order to allow the generator starting to generate electric current (letting the voltmeter measuring up to 230 volts).
  • The generator we are focusing on is also equipped with battery charger, suitable to power all the 12 volts batteries forcing electric current through it. WARNING: this battery charger does not allow powering all the 12 volts electronic devices since we are dealing with a standard recharger.
  • 2 Schuko power outlets rated at 16 A, 250 V Max voltage, with IP44 cover.
  • Ground fault relay.
  • Stop push button.

The working hours must not exceed 3-4 of continuous running (which may lead to the alternator overheating or wear, especially to its internal components: alternator stator and rotor).
