The Rover Novax 20 M electric transfer pump is an electric pump made of antioxidant alloy. This is a product made in Italy. Rover Pompe is the world leader in the manufacture of transfer pumps and filters for oenological use.
This transfer pump is specifically designed for transferring wine (NOT SUITABLE for transferring oil).
Self-priming two-way electric pumps: This is the classic self-priming two-way pump with a side liquid ring and star-shaped impeller. 
This particular type of hydraulic design gives it an extraordinary self-priming capacity even in the presence of discontinuous availability of liquid in the suction line (presence of air or other gases). 
It is suitable for the delicate transfer of filtered liquids in agriculture, oenology, boating and gardening. 
The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) with characteristics of hardness and grain size such as not to wear the internal surfaces of the pump. 
In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter mounted on the suction pipe may be useful. Examples of liquids are: water, wine, milk, must, liquid detergents, diesel and glycol. This type of pump is not suitable for transferring oil.
