The 107 cm sickle bar accessory (included in the price) features double-blade movement (both the lower and upper blade move with reciprocating motion).

This sets it apart from all traditional scythe mowers on the market which still feature single-blade motion (only the upper blade moves, while the lower blade is fixed).

The cutter bar is driven by a belt transmission that allows a truly extraordinary duration because of its clutch effect that protects it.
Suitable for mowing uncultivated and wild grass, even very tall, or grass to be collected for livestock feeding.

In fact, the peculiarity of scythe mowers is to preserve the integrity of the mown grass, performing a single cut next to the stem base.

They can be selected by means of the proper lever placed under the handlebars.

Cutting system with DOUBLE-BLADE MOTION: the bar consists of the lower and upper blade which both move with reciprocating motion. This differentiates the bar of this scythe mower from all the traditional scythe mowers on the market that still feature single-blade movement (only the upper blade moves, while the lower blade is fixed and merely acts as a counter blade).

The upper blade and the lower blade are made of extremely resistant steel.

The cutter bar is TILTING.

In fact, it rotates around its own coupling axis to the machine body.
This allows it to work on any type of terrain, even quite bumpy, since it can easily adapt to its roughness.

Final belt transmission between the cutter bar and the machine body (protected by the large carter in the photo).

This will help to ensure a longer life to the machine. In fact, the belt performs a function similar to that of a clutch (it can slip in case of blade impact, often avoiding wear or damage of the components).
However, we recommend avoiding impacts and working on stony ground.

Another great advantage offered by the belt transmission is the engagement and disengagement lever. You can activate the scythe mower only when necessary, for example on the area where you are working.

You can move it while the blade is not operating since it is self-propelled.
