This innovating self-propelled scythe mower moves thanks to a set of large drive wheels. The drive wheels feature tractor tread tyres. The wheels are connected to an oil-lubricated gear transmission unit and they are driven by a 5-speed gear shifting system (3 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds).

The 107 cm sickle bar is included in the price. The sickle bar features a dual-blade cutting action. The lower blade and the upper blade move in different directions.

This feature makes Eurosystems power scythes stand out compared to other traditional scythe mowers on the market, which feature a single-blade cutting action (only the upper blade moves, while the lower blade is fixed).

The sickle bar is activated by a belt drive which makes it more durable thanks to the belt slipping effect. Suitable for chopping very tall and thick weeds. The pieces of grass can be re-used as food for livestock.

The sickle bar cutting system cuts grass at the base without crushing it. The resulting grass pieces are intact.

The red lever engages or disengages the cutting unit.

The DUAL-BLADECUTTING ACTION is a special feature which makes Eurosystems power scythe models stand out compared to other traditional models on the market. The dual action cutting system features an upper blade and a lower blade that move simultaneously in opposite directions. By contrast, the single blade cutting system features a moving upper blade and a fixed lower blade (counterblade).

The cutting system consists of high-resistance BUSATIS steel upper and lower blades.

The sickle bar features a protective plastic guard.

SWINGING sickle bar

The swinging cutter bar rotates around its own axis, which connects it to the machine body. This enables the self-propelled petrol scythe mower to work on all kinds of terrains, uneven surfaces and challenging areas.

Final Belt drive between the sickle bar and the machine. The transmission unit is protected by the black shield you can see to the right.

This feature reduces the machine wear process and increases its durability. The belt can slip in case of shocks, thus preventing damage to the machine parts. However, we suggest you avoid collision with obstacles and using the power scythe on rocky surfaces.

Because the machine is equipped with a belt drive transmission system, the blade features an engage/disengage lever (upper red lever). This innovating machine allows engaging the blade only when necessary, so it can be disengaged when the operator doesn't need to use the blade.

The machine can be moved around on its drive wheels while the blade is disengaged.

The wheels feature a blocking system that can be engaged or disengaged by releasing the fixing support. When blocking the wheels, they lose traction and go idle.
