Self-propelled 4-stroke petrol scythe mower featuring large tractor sculpted drive wheels. The wheels are connected to an oil-bath gear transmission. Powered by a Honda GCVX 170 engine.

This is amultifunctional machine to which you can attach several accessories such as the sickle bar (included in the price, provided on standard kit). The sickle bar is activated and connected to the machine via a belt drive and quick releases.

Suitable for chopping very tall and thick grass. The mown grass can be used to feed livestock.

In fact, the peculiarity of scythe mowers is to preserve the integrity of the mown grass, performing a single cut next to the stem base. This makes it perfect for preparing food for animals using the resulting pieces of grass.

This self-propelled petrol scythe mower can work on all kinds of terrain, even on gentle slopes and uneven surfaces.

The correct term would be "Commercial” Power, meaning the classic definition standard of power officially used until a few years ago by all leading engine manufacturers.

It corresponds to the real power expressed motor shaft. This is the power indicated as official in the manual or in the technical data of the motor manufacturer.

Sickle bar cutting width: 87 cm

Mulching cutting system: the sickle bar consists of a lower blade and an upper blade, which moves with oscillatory motion in contact with the lower blade that is fixed and merely acts as a counter-blade. This type of sickle bar is known as mulching due to its particularly clear cut, carried out on grass of every texture and height, obtained thanks to the shape of the blades.

The bar is equipped with a blade holder placed on the top of it.

The sickle bar rotates around its own attachment axis that connects it to the machine body. This system allows the petrol scythe mower to move and work on all kinds of terrain, even the most uneven surfaces, given its great adaptability.

The Minieffe series features a new and effective anti-vibration system at the base of the handlebar, between the handlebar and its connection the machine there are four rubber pistons that will absorb the vibrations coming from the engine and the accessory mounted on the machine. Also, the knobs are anti-vibration as well thanks to the rubber cover.

Since they are sculpted, the scythe mower can operate even on the most difficult surfaces while always maintaining perfect grip.

Final belt drive between the sickle bar and the central drive system, featuring a protective white case as you can see in the picture to the right.
This drive system increases the machine durability. The belt works almost like a clutch: it tends to slip in case the blades collide with something. Thus, the machine components that are normally subject to wear will last longer.

However, we recommend you to avoid hitting obstacles with the scythe mower and using it on stony surfaces.

Another great advantage of the belt-driven transmission consists of the blade engagement/disengagement lever (upper red lever). The Operator can activate the petrol scythe mower blade only if and when necessary; where there is work to be done. Self-propulsion can be used to move the machine around even when the blade is disengaged. It allows, for instance, to move the equipment using the self-propulsion on the wheels while the blade is stopped.
