The Rover "DISPENSER" has been designed for transferring liquids with measurement of the quantity transferred. It is equipped with the classic self-priming side liquid ring pump with star-shaped impeller. This particular type of hydraulic design gives it an extraordinary self-priming capacity even in the presence of discontinuous availability of liquid in the suction line (presence of air or other gases). It is suitable for the delicate transfer of filtered liquids in AGRICULTURE, WINE-MAKING, BOATING and GARDENING. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) with characteristics of hardness and grain size such as not to wear the internal surfaces of the pump. In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter mounted on the suction pipe may be useful. Examples of liquids are: WATER, WINE, MILK, MUST, LIQUID DETERGENTS, DIESEL, GLYCOL. This type of pump is not suitable for transferring oil.
