Dreame Z1 – Battery-powered Cleaning Robot – App Control

The Dreame Z1 pool robot is an automatic robot designed for the thorough cleaning of in-ground and above-ground pools up to 180 m².

Its compact design, featuring high-grip tracks, ensures stable movement across the pool floor and walls; the upper body houses the main controls and the quick-release system for removal from the pool.

This pool cleaning robot operates autonomously on the floor, walls and waterline.
Its compact size and cordless operation reduce bulk during transport and handling.

The cleaning cycle is carried out using dual brushes and suction of up to 30 m³/h.
As it moves, dirt, leaves and debris are channelled towards the internal filtration system; the tracks allow the Dreame Z1 pool robot to maintain traction even on vertical surfaces. PoolSense™ technology optimises the cleaning path by detecting the shape of the pool and distributing movements more evenly, minimising repeated passes and untreated areas.

The Dreame Z1 pool robot uses the AI-powered PoolSense™ Triple Fusion Surround perception system to automatically plan its movements within the pool. The system detects the shape of the pool and maps out a cleaning route with more organised sequences than robots that navigate randomly.

• Automatic pool recognition: the robot analyses the pool’s dimensions and geometry; movements are adapted to the actual surface configuration;
• Optimised routes: navigation reduces overlaps and unnecessary passes; operating time is optimised.

Movement is achieved via high-grip side tracks, designed to maintain stability when moving between the bottom and the walls.

• Climbing walls: the traction system keeps the robot firmly attached even on vertical surfaces; the robot can completely clean the pool without manual intervention;
• Waterline cleaning: the robot maintains a stable position at the waterline; debris and deposits are removed along the pool edge.
• S-shaped path for the floor;
• N-shaped path for the walls.

During the operating cycle, the robot automatically adjusts its path in the presence of obstacles or changes in the surface.

• Obstacle detection: the system corrects its trajectory upon contact with submersible objects; movements are smoother in irregularly shaped pools;
• Automatic side docking: at the end of the programme, the robot moves to the pool edge; retrieval is quicker without the need for manual searching on the pool floor.

The Dreame Z1 pool robot can be controlled via a dedicated mobile app, designed to monitor and manage its main functions directly from a smartphone. The interface allows you to quickly control the robot during normal pool cleaning operations.

The main functions available via the app are:

• Remote start and stop: the cleaning cycle can be started or stopped directly from the app;
• Selection of cleaning modes - choice between: standard, walls only, floor only, waterline only.
• Battery monitoring: display of the remaining charge level during operation;
• Cleaning scheduling.
• Parking mode settings
  

The app also allows you to manage the entire compatible Dreame ecosystem, enabling centralised control of multiple devices directly from the same interface.

The app’s functions are not available when the cleaner is underwater.
