The Ceccato Tritone Super Monster is one of the most powerful garden shredder on the market, equipped with a HONDA GX 690 engine, specifically intended for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste. This wood chipper is a top-of-the-range model and it is equipped with self-feeding roller, operated by an hydraulic pump, for drawing the branches and vegetable waste into the large hopper that guarantees a high ease of use.
The machine can shred branches of up 130 mm diameter.
The hopper can rotate 180° and it is 2 m high.
It is equipped with a Honda GX690 single-cylinder 4-stroke petrol engine and a 600 mm diameter cutting unit. The central unit is equipped with 1 central double-edged blade, 2 other reversible blades and other 24 reversible shredding hammers inside.
The garden shredder is provided with a 2-belt drive system including a pulley with clutch that transfer motion from the engine to the shredding unit. Furthermore, it is equipped with 2 counter-blades for high shredding performance. The machine is fitted with a round-shaped sieve that sieves the wood chips. It is fitted with 3 large pneumatic wheels. One wheel is swivelling and can be adjusted by means a drawbar to facilitate manual movement.
The Tritone Super Monster with Honda GX690 engine complies with EC safety regulations.
Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)
Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);
