Ceccato Tritone Sprint - Professional petrol garden shredder - Honda GP 160 engine

The Ceccato Tritone Sprint GP 160 is a heavy-duty petrol garden shredder, specifically intended for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste; it is entirely Made in Italy and equipped with a large hopper that allows the Operator to easily enter branches and vegetable waste. It can shred branches up to 40 mm diameter.

The hopper can be folded for transport or storage. However, it is required to close the hopper with the proper self-locking nuts.

Hopper opening: 29 x 29. Machine size: 134 cm length, 83 mm width, 106 cm high. It is equipped with a Honda GP160 4-stroke petrol engine and a 290 mm cutting unit.

The Tritone Sprint GP160 is in compliance with the safety CE standards.

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

The 163 cc Honda GP 160 engine is light and high performing, suitable for operations requiring great power.

The machine is equipped with a large steel hopper, 29 x 29 cm, able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them. Furthermore, it is possible to enter a large amount of material at a time.

UNIFIED HOPPER: greatly simplifies and speeds up work.
It avoids the Operator to separate large branches from smaller and green ones (before shredding), while each of them must be entered in their own hopper in standard garden shredders with 2 separate hoppers.

SELF-FEEDING: Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously. thanks to the hopper vertical design.

Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded.

WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

Focus on the transparent rubber bulkheads placed on hopper opening.

The central rotor is composed of highly-thick 2 steel flywheels firmly assembled together.

These then represent a sturdy unit (the main component of the garden shredder) of truly superior size, strength and performance, with 30 cm diameter.

Equipped with 2 large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

2 counter-blades, interchangeable and highly sturdy, are mounted into the inner part of the hopper. These act as counter-blades to the 2 main blades and perform a scissor effect at the first cut of the branch entered into the hopper, thus ensuring high cutting performance.

Equipped with 6 hardened steel shredding hammers (or blades) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they shred the branches in small wood chips.

The outer shredding chamber is proportionate to the rotor it includes. It is wide and features a round-shape. It guarantees excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system.

The machine structure is 100% made of steel. No plastic has been used.

The high steel thickness of the shredding chamber proves the high quality and sturdiness of the machine.

This transmission gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

In case of a rotor clogging caused, for example, by a too large branch, stones, etc.. there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and the motor, but the intermediate belt will slip or at least will brake down.

Much longer service life than the standard systems still used by all manufacturers on their the engine powered models where the engine is directly connected to the shredding unit.

Lifting handle. It is placed in the upper part of the hopper and allows the Operator to move the shredder without any effort as it is perfectly balanced.

Rubber-coated transport wheels, useful for moving the wood chipper even on uneven grounds.

Anti-vibration rubber pads that absorb the vibrations of the engine and the machine ensuring great comfort during use.
