Ceccato Triton Super Monster - Professional wheeled garden shredder - Honda GX390 engine

The Ceccato Tritone Super Monster is a heavy-duty wheeled garden shredder, powered by a HONDA GX 390 engine, specifically intended for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste. This wood chipper is a top-of-the-range model and it is equipped with self-feeding roller, operated by an hydraulic pump, for drawing the branches and vegetable waste into the large hopper that guarantees a high ease of use.

The machine can shred branches of up 120 mm diameter.

The hopper can rotate 180° and it is 2 m high.

It is equipped with a Honda GX390 single-cylinder 4-stroke petrol engine and a 600 mm diameter cutting unit. The central unit is equipped with 1 central double-edged blade, 2 other reversible blades and other 24 reversible shredding hammers inside.

The garden shredder is provided with a 2-belt drive system including a pulley with clutch that transfer motion from the engine to the shredding unit. Furthermore, it is equipped with 2 counter-blades for high shredding performance. The machine is fitted with a round-shaped sieve that sieves the wood chips. It is fitted with 3 large pneumatic wheels. One wheel is swivelling and can be adjusted by means a drawbar to facilitate manual movement.

The Tritone Super Monster with Honda GX390 engine complies with EC safety regulations.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

The Tritone Super Monster is a heavy-duty petrol garden shredder provided with self-feeding roller, operated by a hydraulic pump.

Self-feeding rollers speed adjustment: simply adjust the rotation speed by turning the knob on the engine hydraulic variator to adjust the operating speed according to the thickness of the branches and vegetable waste to be shredded.

Wood anti-clogging system: in case the rotor gets over-stressed or stops while processing the wood, the Operator has to move the lever on the hopper (red round lever). Indeed, this lever acts on the motor hydraulic valves and reverses the rotor rotation direction unlocking it.

Hopper lever operating positions: the red round lever around the hopper operates like a 3-position switch. Pushing it down operates the self-feeding roller in its standard forward rotary motion, allowing branches to be drawn into the hopper. Pulling it back reverses the direction of rotation allowing you to operate the anti-clogging system. The rotor in central position doesn’t rotate as this is its rest position.

Electronic NO-STRESS system: the NO-STRESS control unit controls the machine self-feeding rollers both for starting the unit and in case of emergency. It will be possible to start the engine only after having pushed the START button.

The machine is equipped with a large steel hopper, 95 cm wide and 58 cm high, able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

The hopper can be folded for transport or storage so as to take up little space.

Brand-new E-STOP system. In case of emergency, press the 2 red alarm buttons above the hopper; this will immediately stop the rotor, the self-feeding rollers (regardless the position of the control bar) and the engine.

The rotor is composed of highly-thick 2 steel flywheels firmly assembled together.

These then represent a sturdy unit (the main component of the garden shredder) of truly superior size, strength and performance, with 600 mm diameter.

This rotor is therefore one of the sturdiest and largest rotors on the market.

Equipped with 2 large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

The large door of the rotor unit is equipped with 2 sturdy interchangeable counter-blades. These act as counter-blades to the 2 main blades and perform a scissor effect at the first cut of the branch entered into the hopper, thus ensuring high cutting performance.

The blade thickness is 12 mm.

The centre of the rotor is provided with other 2 blades for optimising shredding results.

Equipped with 24 hardened steel shredding hammers (or blades) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they shred the branches in small wood chips.

For better wood chip quality and make the 24 hammers more effective, the machine is equipped with a round-shaped sieve placed around the main rotor (that can be purchased separately).

The powerful Honda GX 390 is a latest generation 4-stroke single-cylinder engine featuring the OHV (overhead valve) technology.

The outer shredding chamber (the largest and sturdiest in its category) is proportionate to the rotor it includes. It is wide and features a round-shape, ensuring excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system.

The machine structure is 100% made of steel. No plastic has been used.

The high steel thickness of the shredding chamber proves the high quality and sturdiness of the machine.

Provided with 180° rotating discharge chute.

Simply rotate the lever and then the chute by means the 2 handles placed in the lower part of the chute.

As the discharge chute is 2 m high, this allows it to discharge the wood chips directly into the tractor or lorry trailer.

The inclination of the discharge chute is also adjustable in order to control the distance of the discharged shredded material.

This 2-belt drive with reinforced belt gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the engine and the inner shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

Much longer service life than the traditional systems still used by all manufacturers with the engine directly connected to the shredding unit.

The hydraulic pump drive is belt-driven too.

The hopper can be folded for easy transport and storage.

Two large rear wheels and a drawbar with tow hitch allow easy transport of the machine in private areas. These features makes the machine easy to move both manually and by means a tractor, a riding-on mower or a car.

Furthermore, the garden shredder is also provided with a front third wheel.

Furthermore, the hopper is equipped with a pole placed on the side to ensure greater stability both during use and maintenance operations that require opening the shredding chamber.

The wood chipper is equipped with a hook to be moved using forklifts or hoists.
