Campagnola Elektra - Electric Harvester - 150-220 cm Carbon Pole

Campagnola's Elektra battery-powered harvester is an ideal tool for olive harvesting, equipped with a 100% carbon telescopic pole, extendable from 150 to 220 cm, which guarantees lightness and strength.

This electric shaker is characterised by its speed and its reciprocating pick-up head, designed to offer optimum weight balance during use.

The cover structure and flexible prongs, made of high-strength techno polymer, allow for high durability and interchangeability, ensuring efficiency over time.

This model is particularly suitable for harvesting on pruned trees with not too dense foliage, thanks to the rakes that comb the branches very smoothly, facilitating harvesting with alternating movements.

The telescopic carbon rod allows for a wide extension, improving comfort and effectiveness when used on different sized shafts.

The most important features to consider when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one are:

• Higher sturdiness;
• More rigidity, thus higher control;
• 300 grams less than its aluminium counterpart;

The pole at such length is always the ideal configuration of this harvester, precisely because it mounts the motor at the bottom of the pole.

Perfect for use with shorter olive trees, we recommend to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (see diagram above) making its operation even more comfortable.

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, thus resulting sturdy and extremely light.

The head of this harvester, despite its large size, weighs 1100g only!!! The first electric olive harvester to feature a head that weighs as much as pneumatic compressed air harvesters (which until now had been lighter).

The weight of the harvester head with the engine fitted in the head itself, still on the market today, is around 1800 grams.

The transmission in the head (without engine) is very slim and lightweight, virtually with a non-existent footprint. It offers a total manoeuvrability inside the foliage.

The shells protect all the gears that transmit movement to the tines from dust, dirt and shocks.

Ultra-robust overhead transmission. It is very simple, made with only a few gears in very high-strength hardened steel. There aren't cams, spider assemblies, connecting cross shaped rods, i.e. all those mechanical elements that are prone to easy deterioration and, above all, require continuous maintenance.

Elektra requires only one maintenance: lubrication of the overhead transmission via the cap pictured.

All this is enclosed in a sturdy ABS housing that protects all the kinematics that drive the prongs from dust, dirt and shocks.

The prongs are made of sturdy thermoplastic RESIN. The result is exceptional flexibility combined with an extraordinary strength.

The harvesting is performed with very long prongs that alternate with shorter ones. The advantage is that the machine can easily penetrate between the branches, thanks to the more sparse front, but can also go deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs, which, compared to other olive harvesters with rakes on the market, are longer.

The tines are individually interchangeable one by one in the event of accidental breakage

ADVANTAGES of the rake with long and short prongs:

• Better ability to penetrate the foliage.
• Greater working width compared to competitors by an impressive 26 cm!
• Higher respect of the tree and lower breakage of branches and leaves compared to other olive harvesters with the same length prongs.
• It can work on all types of olives, from large table olives to smaller and thus more difficult to harvest ones, due to the very close distance between the long and short tine.

The prongs feature an incredible flexibility combined with an extraordinary resistance. It is almost impossible to break one of the prongs of the 2 combs.

The engine at the end of the pole gives this olive harvester exceptional balancing, which translates into less fatigue during use.
However, 99% of harvesters on the market today still feature the motor at the head: which is an easier and more affordable solution that makes the harvester extremely unbalanced and very tiring to use.

It should not be forgotten that most of the time the harvester is gripped at the bottom of the pole, and if the weight is concentrated all over it, it becomes very heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use for a whole day.

When choosing an olive harvester, it is a mistake to consider only the total weight when assessing user comfort

It generates, despite the considerable size of rakes, up to 1250 rotations per minute.

Support base with cable grommet. Provides full protection of the extension cable and the motor connection socket. Both in the working phase, when the cable is constantly being pulled, and in the other phase when the machine is resting vertically on the ground.
