Campagnola Elektra - 200cm Fixed Carbon Pole - Electric Olive Harvester

The battery powered Elektra olive harvester by Campagnola for olive collection with fixed 100 % carbon pole 180/270 cm long.

It is fast and equipped with a collection head with alternate movement and great weight balance.

The cover and the flexible and interchangeable prongs of this electric olive shaker are made of an highly-resistant techno-polymer.

This machine is ideal for well pruned and not too thick trees. The rakes "comb" the branches with a reciprocating motion, with an exceptional smoothness within them.

These are the most important features when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one:

• Higher sturdiness;
• More rigidity means higher control;
• It weighs 300 g less than the aluminium ones;

New telescopic handle (longer than previous models) extra light and completely made of CARBON, equipped with quick coupling.

The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the motor is mounted at the end of the pole.

It is great with shorter olive trees, we advice to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (just like shown in the upper diagram) making it even more handy to use.

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, thus resulting sturdy and extremely light.

The head of this harvester, despite its large size, weighs only 1100g !!! The first electric olive harvester provided with a head that weighs as the compressed air pneumatic olive harvesters (which until now were lighter).

The weight of the olive harvesters head, which can be found still today on the market, with the motor mounted on it weighs around 1800g.

The transmission in the head (without motor) is very slim and lightweight, virtually with a non-existent footprint. It offers a total manoeuvrability inside the foliage.

The covers protect from dust, dirt and bumps all the kinematics that transmit the movement to the combs.

Highly-strong head transmission. In fact it is very easy and realised with only a few highly-resistant tempered steel gears. There aren't cams, spider assemblies, connecting cross shaped rods or other mechanical components that undergo a quick wear-and-tear process and require constant maintenance.

Elektra requires only one maintenance operation: the lubrication of the overhead transmission by means the proper plug shown in the picture.

The whole is enclosed in a sturdy housing made of ABS plastic which protects from dust, dirt and bumps all the kinematics that transmit the movement to the combs.

The combs are made of sturdy thermoplastic RESIN. The result is exceptional flexibility combined with an extraordinary resistance.

The harvesting is carried out with very long prongs alternating with shorter ones. The advantage is that the machine can easily penetrate between the branches, thanks to the front part which is sparse, but can also go deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs, which, compared to other olive harvesters with combs on the market, are longer.

The prongs are interchangeable one by one in case of accidental break.

ADVANTAGES of the long and short prongs:

• Better ability to penetrate the foliage.
• Greater working width compared to the competitors, 26 cm!
• Higher respect of the tree and lower breakage of branches and leaves compared to other olive harvesters with the same length prongs.
• It can work on any type olive, from the big table olives to the smaller ones and more difficult to detach, given the reduced distance between the short prongs and the long ones.

The prongs features an incredible flexibility combined with an extraordinary resistance. It is almost impossible to break one of the prongs of the 2 combs.

The motor at the end of the pole gives this harvester exceptional balancing, which means less fatigue during use.
Today, however, 99% of harvesters on the market have still the motor mounted on the head: an easier and more affordable solution that makes the harvester extremely unbalanced in weights and very tiring to use.

Do not forget that in most cases the harvester is gripped at the bottom of the pole, and if the weight is all concentrated above, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use for a whole day.

In choosing a harvester, it is wrong to consider only the total weight in the evaluation of Operator's comfort.

The Operator's comfort is given not by the total weight but from balancing weights, and then by mounting the motor at the bottom of the pole

Despite the considerable size of the combs, it features 1250 rotations per minute.

Support base with cable grommet. It ensures total protection of the extension cable and the motor connection socket. Both during operations, when the cable is pulled constantly, and after use, when the machine is placed vertically to the ground during storage.
