The POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE 18v is a partnership of power tool manufacturers who have decided to adopt a common standard for 18 Volt batteries, allowing for battery interchangeability between the different brands participating in the alliance.

Several major brands have chosen to adopt this initiative, and these products are recognisable by the P4A label.

The use of the same 18-volt battery configuration across the different brands participating in the alliance allows consumers to use batteries from one brand with battery-powered tools from another participating brand.

The advantages of this alliance include battery interchangeability between different brands, which means that consumers can choose the best power tools from various brands using the same batteries.

In addition, higher-capacity batteries of one brand can also be used in the power tools of another participating brand, increasing the life and performance of the tools.

This approach also helps reduce costs, as users are not limited to buying batteries from a single brand and can take advantage of offers across the alliance.

Using a single battery platform across multiple tools reduces the need to purchase and manage several spare batteries, making the system more convenient and efficient for everyday use.

The 4 Ah battery compartment is located at the centre of the front part.

Simply lift the protective cover and remove the battery to recharge it.

The 18V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (like modern smartphone batteries, it has no memory effect) so it is always ready for use. It lasts on average 30 times longer than a standard battery. The battery is equipped with a handy charge indicator and an activation button to prevent the tool from switching on accidentally.

Advantages of the battery-powered electric motor

• More reliable than a combustion engine, thanks to its electric motor. It has no spark plugs, filters, fuel pumps, carburettors, etc., i.e. components that are prone to problems.
• Much lighter than combustion engines
• Maintenance-free operation
• Lower consumption and drastically reduced operating costs compared to combustion models (cutting can be carried out with minimal electricity costs). Moreover, there is no need to constantly procure fuel (which should always be fresh).
• Reduced vibrations, thanks to the electric motor. On the other hand, almost all combustion engine systems, which are not equipped with anti-vibration systems on steel springs, have a very high degree of vibration, making the work extremely uncomfortable.
• No exhaust emissions, making it more environmentally friendly and safer for the operator.
• Much quieter operation, it is more pleasant to use than combustion engines.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM
for cutting grass without collecting it, the grass clippings are finely shredded and left on the lawn.

Instant conversion: simply remove the grass collector, insert the supplied mulching plug and lower the rear deflector to activate the mulching system.

WHAT IS MULCHING:
the grass clippings are finely shredded and then released back onto the lawn. The particles are as small as if the grass had been collected. This eliminates the need for disposal, reducing both effort and mowing time. As the clippings decompose, they release water and nutrients back into the soil (grass is about 80% water), helping to maintain a balanced biological cycle. To ensure the best results, the lawn should still be watered regularly and mowing should be carried out at least once a week.

CUTTING SYSTEM WITH GRASS COLLECTOR

Equipped with a spacious 35-litre bag, easy to remove and empty.

The lower section is made of mesh, allowing the bag to be emptied easily thanks to its flexibility.

A practical handle is located at the top of the bag to make it easier to remove.

Centralised cutting height adjustment: a single lever adjusts all 4 wheels simultaneously.

The lawn mower ensures a healthy and comfortable working posture, thanks to its handlebar.

The main controls are located on the handlebar: to operate the machine, press the central button and, at the same time, press the second control button.

The handlebar can be easily removed for storage or transport using the two knobs. Its length is also adjustable.

The actual cutting area may be significantly lower than the value stated by the manufacturer, which is calculated under standard operating conditions with dry grass of medium to low height. When working on tall, overgrown, damp or particularly dense grass, the workload increases and the motor requires more energy, resulting in a reduction in the effective battery runtime.

The value declared by the manufacturer is, however, fully reliable in favourable cutting conditions, i.e. on a regularly maintained lawn with dry, not excessively tall and not overgrown grass, which correspond to the standard parameters used during laboratory testing.

When mowing regularly and working on a thin layer of well-maintained grass—preferably in the afternoon when the lawn is almost completely dry—the mower’s performance can match the declared specifications and, in some cases, even exceed them.

The cutting system also affects energy absorption: collection and mulching require greater blade thrust than simple discharge. The condition of the blade has a further impact: a blunt blade increases friction and reduces the number of metres that can actually be covered with a single charge.

Other factors depend on the terrain. Slopes and unevenness require higher torque, and activating traction (if available) results in continuous absorption, which significantly reduces the actual working time. Unideal temperatures, battery age, and repeated restarts or tight manoeuvres further reduce the available runtime.

In sub-optimal operating conditions, the difference between the declared surface area and the actual workable surface area is therefore due to the greater load required by the engine, blade and traction system.

The LAWN MOWER is designed and intended for cutting grass exclusively in gardens (and not on other types of terrain), characterised by smooth level surfaces, free of stones or other solid objects, and with maintained grass (i.e. no uncultivated/overgrown grass). The grass should be cut regularly, avoiding growth beyond 25/30 cm (which most lawn mowers are unable to cut). Also avoid slopes greater than 15% (≈9°), except for 4x4 models.

Please also note that grass should only be cut when both the lawn and the ground underneath are completely dry. Only cut the grass in dry weather, well away from rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon when it is not saturated with morning moisture. Wet grass tends to bend under the weight of the cutting blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging in the cutting deck and putting excessive strain on the engine.
