Blue Bird LM 22-46T - Battery-powered Lawn Mower - 42V/5Ah - 46 cm cut

It is a battery-powered lawn mower, designed to provide a highly efficient lawn mowing experience, free from the limits and noise of petrol engines and the need to have a power outlet nearby.

This machine combines lightness and ease of manoeuvring, thanks to its brushless motor, known for its energy efficiency and very long life span.

The Blue Bird LM 22-46T model is equipped with an innovative 4-mode cutting system: with collection bag, rear, side and mulching.

This last mode allows you to finely grind the cut grass and disperse it on the ground, thus contributing to its natural fertilization. In addition, the integrated collection bag ensures efficient collection of grass residues.

One of the distinctive features of this model is the telescopic handlebar, designed to offer superior ergonomics. The adjustability of the handlebar ensures that the user can adapt the mower to their height and posture, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort during use.

Easy to manoeuvre thanks to the traction positioned on the rear wheels of the mower.

The cutting height is centrally adjustable in six different positions, from 25 to 75 mm, and has a cutting width of 46 cm, making it versatile and suitable for different types of lawn and cutting conditions.

Easy to transport thanks to its handle and light weight, the LM 22-46T mower is also suitable for medium-sized surfaces.

In addition, the product can be placed vertically, which increases its comfort and limits its space when not in use.

WARNING: The machine is specified by the manufacturer to operate at a maximum voltage of 42 volts, corresponding to the peak voltage of the built-in battery. The device is designed to operate with a nominal voltage of 32 volts, the same as indicated on the 2 batteries (18 V+ 18 V).

The compartment of the two 18 V 2.5Ah batteries is placed in the front part of the machine.

Simply lift the protective cover and remove the battery to recharge it.

18 V lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time (just like the batteries of modern smartphones, no memory effect) so they are always ready to use. They last on average 3 times more than a standard battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charging indicator and a start button to prevent unwanted switching on of the unit.

The lawn mower is equipped with safety key to prevent accidental operations.

The machine is a traditional 4 in 1 lawn mower, provided with rear discharge, grass collection and mulching cutting systems.

GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM:

This system allows collecting the grass in the 35 L grass collector. The grass collector is equipped with a comfortable handle for removal.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

Allows the grass to be cut without the use of a grass bag, depositing it directly in the back of the mower.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

Using the mulching cap will allow the grass cuttings to be deposited to fertilise the soil.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

Allows you to cut the grass and deposit it on the right side of the machine.

WHAT IS MULCHING: this grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated, and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

Centralised cutting height adjustment: it is possible to adjust simultaneously the 4 wheels by means of a single lever.

The blade is made of steel and allows a cutting width of 46 cm, which guarantees a recommended surface area of up to 800m2.

The handlebar can be easily folded for storage or transport by means of the 2 knobs. Its length is also adjustable through the hooks on the sides of the handlebar

The main controls are located on the handlebars, to operate the machine you have to press the power button, press the lever that operates the blade, and then if you also press the two levers the machine will move. Traction is placed on the rear wheels.

The machine is also equipped with a speed variator on the handlebar that allows adjusting the lawn mower forward speed according to your needs. In case of low visibility, you’ll only have to press.

FULL CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE BATTERY LIFE: the charge of the lithium-ion batteries does not fade. Unlike nickel-cadmium batteries, which power gradually decreases, lithium-ion batteries, cells maintain constant power throughout the entire cycle. The same charge for the entire cycle without reducing the motor speed. The battery is running at full power until its complete exhaustion.

LONGER CHARGE LIFE: lithium-Ion batteries last 3–4 times longer than traditional Nickel-Cadmium batteries and their power storage lasts longer, so they lose less power. Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged up to 2000 times!

LIGHTWEIGHT: Lithium-ion batteries have the best power-weight rate. They weight 1/3 of nickel-cadmium ones.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY: Lithium-ion battery-powered tools are recyclable and are produced without heavy metals.

NO MEMORY EFFECT: lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time without negative memory effect. Indeed, they don't fail to provide maximum power even after hundreds of charge cycles.
Few minutes of charge are enough to complete the work.

LOW DISCHARGE RATE: low loss of charge rate (up to 5 times lower than nickel-cadmium batteries) so your machine will be ready to use even after months of storage.
