The Bluebird GX50 shaker is a versatile machine designed to make harvesting olives and other hanging fruits easy. Equipped with a 47.9 cc, 4-stroke Honda GX50 engine, it delivers a power output of 1.47 kW, ensuring high performance and low fuel consumption.

Thanks to its configuration, this shaker includes two interchangeable poles: a brush cutter pole and a 280 cm shaker pole which allows easy access to heights of up to 5 metres, making the tool ideal for working on large trees.

Ergonomics is another strong point of the GX50 shaker and brush cutter. The engine is strategically placed to balance the weight, reducing fatigue during extended work sessions. Easy starting, thanks to the Honda engine's automatic decompression system, further enhances operating convenience.

Moreover, thanks to technological research, Honda invented the first 4-stroke engine which operates at any inclination. This configuration is called "any-side-up".

The Honda GX 50 is a 47.9 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. It is equipped with a single cylinder, and it develops a max. power of 1.47 Hp at 7000 rpm, and a torque of 2.2 Nm at 5000 revolutions per minute.

The weight and size of the engine are very low, only 4.1 kg dry.

The Honda GX50 engine runs on petrol. It comes with a 130ml oil tank, which feeds the unique lubrication system that Honda has developed for these engines.

No more fuel issues and no need to prepare the mixture or worry about having fresh mixture supplies. Eco-friendly engine: one of the least polluting models of this sector.

The Blue Bird Industries transmission made for backpack brush cutters consists of 2 parts:

1- aluminium tube with a diameter of 27 mm, which contains an 8 mm inner shaft made of high-strength steel.

2- flexible coupling between motor and rod with a very high-strength flexible steel rope inside it

The transmission is equipped with a set of 6 professional self-lubricating bushings for long service life even under heavy and professional use.

The materials used to make both the shaft and the hose are of the highest quality and made in Italy.

Focus on the quick release between hose and rod. It splits into 2 in a second for carrying it in the car, storing it in the garage etc...

These drive units, when under normal working stress, deteriorate very quickly due to the low quality, low hardness and low thickness of the material used. Furthermore, the very high performance of the Honda engine would require a transmission of the same quality to enable the shaft to withstand the engine's high level of power and performance.

The Blue Bird Industries bevel gear is entirely of light alloy and features 4 self-lubricating bearings inside, 2 dedicated to the pinion and 2 for the crown gear. It is the largest bevel gear in its class, which is also evident from its massive size.

The steel used to make both the crown gear and the pinion is top-grade and is a high-strength steel, extremely well suited to withstanding mechanical stress.

Furthermore, the crown and pinion are entirely designed and moulded in Italy.
