The torque limiter shear bolt is designed to protect the machine from damages due to mechanical overload caused by unforecasted or excessively high torque. This means if the torque force is higher than the one the bolt can bear, the bolt snaps off. To reactivate transmission, the shear bolt shall be replaced with a new one having the same features.
