The Awelco IRIS 120 electrode welder is a compact and versatile machine designed for use in both hobby and semi-professional contexts. Thanks to MMA (Manual Metal Arc) technology, it enables coated electrode welding, guaranteeing high quality results on various types of metal. Its light and compact design makes it easily transportable, ideal for workshop or outdoor work.
With a 230V single-phase power supply, the IRIS 120 develops an absorbed power of 4.5 kVa and an effective power of 3.0 kW, ensuring good energy efficiency. The no-load voltage is 60V, allowing a fast welding arc ignition. The welding current range varies from 25A to 100A, offering flexibility in operations and allowing different material thicknesses to be worked on.
The 30% duty cycle at the maximum current of 100A ensures adequate performance in continuous operations and reduces downtime due to cooling. The welder supports electrodes between 1.6 mm and 3.25 mm in diameter, making it compatible with a wide range of coated electrodes used for steel, stainless steel and other materials.
