The Alpina A5 51 SHQ is a self-propelled lawn mower, ideal for taking care of your lawn and very easy to use.

It comes complete with:

The Honda GCVx170 laced into a steel housing features 3.30 kW of power at 2900 rpm.

Rear-wheel drive with automatic forward system via lever.

The machine is equipped with a centralised cutting height adjustment. The cutting height can be easily adjusted by means a single lever for better results in 6 different positions, from 22 mm to 80 mm.

Equipped with high-wheel system, the machine features 200 mm front wheels and 280 mm rear wheels with tread mounted on ball bearings, for a better wheel functionality.

The large 60 L grass collector is provided with full-level indicator.

The ergonomically shaped handlebar ensures a comfortable grip during use.

The front bumper protects the housing from shocks, extending the service life of the machine. The top handle helps you transporting your lawn mower or lift it to better clean the lower housing.

Adjustable handlebar, thanks to the easy-to-use knobs. The handlebar height can be adjusted in 2 different positions.

The Honda GCVx170 OHV is a lightweight and high-performing engine, suitable for jobs requiring high power, guaranteed by the 166 cc. The high power sets this engine type on top of the Honda GCVx Series.

GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM

The unit is provided with a large grass collector with full-level indicator.

The lower part is made of canvas. Its flexibility allows easy emptying the grass collector when full.

Comfortable handle on the upper side of the grass collector in order to facilitate the collector removal.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM

This system allows mowing grass without using the grass collector, discharging the grass clippings directly from the back of the lawn mower.

Simply remove the grass collector and the rear discharge will automatically operate.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM

This system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.

Immediate conversion: you will just need to pull out the grass collector, enter the standard-supplied mulching plug, and lower the rear deflector in order to engage the mulching system.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM

This system allows mowing grass without collecting the clippings inside the grass collector (it is also possible to collect grass a bit higher than normal, due to the high disposal capacity of the side discharge deflector).

Leaving the mulching plug entered, in order not to occlude the rear discharge of the grass, simply lift the black cover on the housing side and enter the side deflector supplied with a simple gesture.

The controls placed on the handlebar are easy and user-friendly.
