The AL-KO Easy 4.16 P-D petrol lawn mower is designed for use on surfaces covering up to 300 square metres. This lawn mower is equipped with a 79.8 cc AL-KO Tech 3000 engine, which effectively engages the hardened steel rotating blade.

The lawn mower features a metal housing, which protects the mechanical components from debris on the ground. The 41-centimetre working width allows for quick manoeuvring even in tight spaces.

The 3-IN-ONE technology allows you to manage mowing with three different operating modes: rear grass collection into the 50-litre canvas rear collector with plastic cover, rear discharge mowing, and mulching, which finely shreds the clippings to naturally nourish the soil.

The AL-KO lawn mower features a full level indicator integrated into the grass collector. The front handle makes it easy to lift the machine during loading.

The metal handlebar provides a firm and secure grip while pushing, and features quick-release levers to fold the handlebar down quickly. This solution reduces the machine’s footprint inside the garage or tool shed. It is also possible to adjust the handlebar height to three different positions.

1. Cutting system with grass collector:

the lawn mower is equipped with a handy 50-litre canvas collector, which is very easy to remove and empty.

The machine features a convenient handle to easily remove and empty the grass box when it is full.

The bag has a full level indicator, allowing you to monitor when it is full.

2. Rear discharge system:

used for cutting the grass and discharging it directly behind the lawn mower, leaving a trail of grass clippings behind it through the dedicated opening at the back of the lawn mower.

3. Mulching cutting system:

this is used to cut the grass without collecting it, finely shredding it before depositing it on the ground. Simply insert the mulching plug into the rear of the lawn mower.

WHAT IS MULCHING:
a cutting system that allows the grass clippings to be shredded and then released onto the lawn, pulverised to such a small extent that they appear almost as if they have been collected. This eliminates the problem of clippings disposal, reducing effort and drastically cutting down the time spent mowing. The grass decomposes and will subsequently turn into nutrients for the lawn and into water (grass is 80% water), ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is important to remember that, to ensure the system works to its full potential, the lawn must still be watered, and there must be at least one grass clipping per week.

The LAWN MOWER is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in gardens (and not on other types of terrain), characterised by level surfaces without unevenness, the absence of stones or other solid objects, and grass maintained as a ‘lawn’ (i.e. no wild or unkempt grass), which should be cut regularly, ensuring it does not grow beyond 25–30 cm (as most lawn mowers cannot cut grass longer than this). Also avoid slopes steeper than 15% (≈9°), except for 4x4 models.

For more demanding jobs, involving wild grass or grass taller than specified, or surfaces rougher than a garden, consider the alternative product categories “Petrol rough cut mower” or “Brush cutter”.

Please also note that grass should only be cut when both the lawn and the ground beneath are completely dry. Mow the grass only in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or watering, and preferably in the afternoon when it is not saturated with morning moisture. Wet grass tends to bend under the weight of the cutting blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging in the cutting deck and placing excessive strain on the engine.
