Al-Ko Combi-Care 38 P Comfort petrol lawn scarifier

Even if the AL-KO Combi-Care 38 P Comfort petrol lawn scarifier is designed for hobby use, it is equipped with sturdy steel blades and is powered by a 2 Hp petrol engine.

It is equipped with a rotor with 14 hardened steel blades to penetrate and aerate the lawn.


One of its great features is the possibility to also mount a rotor with 24 springs.

This lawn scarifier is also equipped with 3 different operating modes: scarifying, raking and collecting mode.

WARNING:

Aeration must be performed STRICTLY with the garden previously and abundantly watered.

* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

Dual type rotor

This lawn scarifier is equipped with 2 different types of rotor, easily interchangeable, for different operating modes.

Both rotors are included in the packaging.

Rotor with springs: recommended for the “aeration process”.

With this rotor, the turf is combed lightly thanks to its steel spring design, which pinches and pulls away the felt and moss (also preventing regrowth).

It consists of a sturdy roller fitted with 24 springs.

Rotor with blades
Recommended for the “scarifying process”.

This rotor type allows a more intensive lawn care thanks to the possibility to work the soil in depth. Indeed, the 14 sharpened blades penetrate vertically the lawn allowing the complete removal of moss, felt and weeds.
This feature ensures a lawn that is regenerated enhancing its oxygenation, drainage and uptake of nutrients.

* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is advisable to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

It is equipped with a steel roller with 14 highly-sturdy blades.

The replacement of a rotor with another is easy and immediate thanks to the simple and intuitive proper system.

Dual working method

This machine can be used both with or without collection bag.

The 55 L bag for collecting debris is provided on standard equipment.

Operating without the collection bag: with the proper rear deflector the torn old felt and aeration residues are deposited on the ground.
