The 43-litre collection basket includes a fill indicator that signals when emptying is required. For the mulching function, simply insert the dedicated plug into the discharge channel to finely shred the grass and distribute it on the lawn as a natural fertiliser.

The centralised cutting height adjustment not only improves the quality of the cut but also simplifies the use of the lawnmower. With a single operation, it is possible to change the height of all the wheels, avoiding the need to adjust each wheel individually.

The lawnmower AL-KO allows rear collection via bag.

The collection basket in ABS plastic has a capacity of 43 lt.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

Allows cutting grass without using the collection bag, depositing it directly at the rear of the lawnmower.

Simply remove the collection basket and the rear discharge system will automatically be operational.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

For cutting grass without collecting it, finely pulverising it before depositing it on the ground.

Immediate conversion: just remove the collection basket, insert the supplied mulching plug and lower the rear deflector to enable the mulching system.

WHAT IS MULCHING:
a cutting system that allows the shredded grass to be left on the lawn, pulverised to the point that it almost appears to have been collected. This eliminates the problem of disposal (reducing effort and drastically shortening the time spent cutting) and also, as it decomposes, it will later transform into a nutrient for the lawn itself and into water (grass is made up of 80% water) thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is useful to remember that, to ensure the absolute efficiency of the system, the lawn must still be watered, and the grass cut at least once a week.

The lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in garden areas (and not on other types of terrain). The surface must be level, free from irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (therefore, not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most lawn mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

Furthermore, grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, which reduces cutting efficiency, increases the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjects the engine to excessive strain.
