The Al-Ko 32.5 VE Basic Care Classic electric lawn scarifier is designed for hobby use. However, it is equipped with sturdy steel blades and powered by a 1400W motor.
It consists of a rotor fitted with 12 hardened steel blades that can penetrate the soil and aerate it.
This machine can also operate with 2 different modes simultaneously: it can cut and collect in the convenient 45 L collection bag provided, for a great operating comfort. The collection bag can be removed in order to leave the debris directly on the ground.
It is the ideal choice for hobby use on small lawns of up to 400 s.q. m.
WARNING:
Before the aeration process the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric motor and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)
* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.
