Airmec TTD 3460/650 Petrol Engine-driven Air Compressor - 6 HP Diesel Engine - 650 L/min

The Airmec TTD 3460/650 petrol engine-driven air compressor is designed to power and operate pneumatic tools for pruning and harvesting in the agricultural sector.

The air compressor is mounted on a balanced frame with double tank to reduce the condensate effect. This model is equipped with two tanks of 17 L each. It mounts a Chinook K28 two-stage and two-cylinder head with three side cooling manifolds

This model is equipped with automatic throttle. Thanks to this smart system, the engine automatically adjust its acceleration level based on the air intake of the equipment used. When the other equipment are not used, the engine will have lower rpm, when they are switched on again, the engine will accelerate to deliver enough air supply for its operation, thus guaranteeing low consumption and a reduction of wear of the engine and the cylinder head.

It features a EURO 5 HAILIN diesel engine with 306 cc electric start capable of delivering a power of 6 HP. It keeps consumption low even for full working days. It has an air output capacity of 650 L per minute and it can reach a maximum pressure of 11 bar.

Its large pneumatic wheels and a comfortable handle facilitate transport and movement during working phases.

This petrol engine-driven air compressor supports the simultaneous use of 3 olive harvesters, up to 7 pneumatic shears and 1 pneumatic chain pruner.

The HAILIN diesel engine delivers 6 Hp of power and its function is to operate the pumping unit. This high performance engine is suitable for works where great power is required and that is easily reached thanks to the 306 cc cubic capacity. The engine meets the EURO 5 standard

The highly professional top quality CHINOOK cylinder head is intended for heavy-duty continuous work. The two-stage cylinder head is equipped with two cylinders connected in series where the air is compressed gradually until it reaches the final pressure. Made of cast iron, a material characterised by resistance and durability. It also comes with 3 side cooling manifolds. The maxi dimensions of the head allow to keep very low rpm while delivering 650 L/min of pumped air.

This extremely low rpm of the pumping unit guarantees an extremely long service life of the air compressor. This also reduces components wear.

* it is recommended to purchase an air compressor of a slightly larger size than the minimum amount of equipment to be used. This will allow the air compressor to work at a lower engine speed to operate more than one tool at the same time.

This petrol engine-driven air compressor features a belt drive.

The use of the transmission belt guarantees a very high level of safety. Combined with its powerful diesel engine, the belt drive contributes to the durability of this compressor, drastically reducing the number of revolutions of the cylinder head and reducing wear.

The protection is used to prevent the transmission belt and the belt drive from being damaged by any external objects during operation. It also allows to always have under control the status of the drive belt.
