ATTENTION:
The log splitters in this category are not suitable for working with wood with particularly twisted fibres, such as poplar or pine, with large diameters and, in any case, types of wood with frequent knots. In this case, it is advisable to opt for professional models. In addition, logs should only be split once they have been dried, and not when they are green; when wood is green, it is less likely to split and open up and is therefore less suitable for use with a log splitter. Once dried, however, it can be split and is ready for use in fireplaces, stoves, ovens, etc..
