The Tiger D420/120L tracked petrol shredder consists of the SFL 300 power barrow and the Drake D420/120L wood chipper.
Thanks to the tracked base, the machine can be easily moved so that it can be used anywhere.
Powered by a Loncin D420 engine of 420 cc with a rated power of 15 HP.
The base is equipped with a slewing ring rotating in 3 positions, so that the hopper can be directed in the desired direction.
The crawler base has tracks with 3 rollers with a total length of 94 cm and a width of 180 mm. It is powered by a Loncin G200F engine 196 cc, with a rated power of 6.5 HP.
The rotor can be easily inspected by simply removing the two fastening nuts on the hopper and then opening it. Any control and/or maintenance operations must be carried out with the machine switched off.
This chipper model allows cutting weeds and twigs with a maximum diameter of 90 mm, reducing them into small-sized pieces that are easy to handle and ideal for composting.
This garden shredder is equipped with a double safety system, one at the base of the hopper and the other placed immediately above. The first does not allow the rotation of the rotor unless the hopper is perfectly closed; by contrast, the second safety system is equipped with a button that, when pressed, immediately blocks the machine in case of emergency. It is built following the logic of large shredders, resulting in the highest performance in terms of cutting, speed and reliability. Thus, it complies with the CE regulations on safety at work.
Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)
Shredders intended use:
- The shredder must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to rapid deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwoods and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper)
