Wortex D200/80H - Petrol garden shredder - Honda GX 200 engine

The Wortex D200/80H is a lightweight petrol garden shredder WITH 6.5 Hp Honda GX 200 engine.

The wood chipper shreds brushwood and twigs making them suitable for composting. Shredding operations also allow reducing the material decomposing time.

The large steel hopper can process even very bulky branches and leaves without having to pre-shred them. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

Equipped with safety lever on the feeding hopper that allows the Operator to immediately stop the machine.

The overall weight of the unit is 85 Kg.

Hourly output: 2-3 cubic-metres/h.

Set including safety earmuffs, protective goggles and wrenches included for free.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc.… (it is designed to shred branches, but it can also grind the leaves, needles and other vegetation that may be attached to them).

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

• UNIFIED HOPPER:

It considerably simplifies and speeds up the operations.
It avoids the Operator to separate large branches from smaller and green ones (before shredding), while each of them must be entered in their own hopper in standard garden shredders with 2 separate hoppers.

• SELF-FEEDING:

Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously thanks to the hopper vertical design. Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded.

WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

SAFETY SYSTEMS: Focus on the safety red lever that ensures the possibility to immediately stop the machine when needed.

The outer shredding chamber is essential and proportionate to the rotor it includes. It guarantees excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system. The machine structure is 100% made of steel. No plastic has been used.

The central rotor is composed of 1 swivelling steel roller featuring 2 150 mm blades.

The dual blade system is also equipped with a counter-blade placed in the shredding chamber. Focus on the the counter-blade adjustment: the counter-blade is tilted with respect to the frame and rotor rotation direction for increasing the wood chipper shredding capacity and performance.

Reinforced blades: 2 blades fixed with 3 hardened steel bolts.

The rotor can be checked in case of clogging or cleaning the machine; just unscrew 2 bolts to open the hopper connected to the rotor.

The garden shredder is equipped with two 10” pneumatic wheels and an anti-vibration rubber-coated front support.

The discharge chute deflector can be manually adjusted.

All roller shredders like this one allow high performance by entering leafless and cleaned branches (not thick and with too twigs);
they are ideal for quite large branches and not for many thin or green branches featuring many twigs; this is because the roller system is technically unsuitable for grinding small diameters branches, or green material in general, while they really give their best with larger branches.
This is due to their less "centrifugal" power compared to standard disc and blade models, and to the "greater distance between blade and counter-blade", designed for single branches that are already well cleaned but with a large diameter.

The Honda GX 200 engine is powerful and heavy-duty, with the latest generation technology in OHV valve head.

INTERMEDIATE REINFORCED BELT DRIVE.

This transmission gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

In case of a rotor clogging caused, for example, by a too large branch, stones, etc… There is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and the motor, but the intermediate belt will slip or at least will break down.

Much longer service life than the standard systems still used by all manufacturers on their petrol-powered models, where the engine is directly connected to the shredding unit.
