The Volpi PV295 electric pruning shear is a suitable solution for the maintenance of gardens and parks, and the pruning of vineyards, orchards and olive groves, with high standards of safety and reliability.

Equipped with a quick shut-off function and stand-by mode, the PV295 scissor is energy efficient: it automatically switches off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Its steel blades are perfect for a variety of pruning applications, with a maximum opening of 28 mm. The Teflon-coated interchangeable blade ensures versatility and ease of maintenance.

Not only powerful for cutting dry or fresh branches, but also surprisingly light thanks to the high-quality materials used. This tool is extremely reliable even for the most demanding jobs. Powered by interchangeable 14.4 V, 2.5 Ah lithium batteries, which can be inserted into the base of the scissors, it provides greater user convenience.

Excellent for pruning work in both gardening and agriculture, the Volpi PV295 pruning shear boasts a battery life of approximately 3½ hours and a 150W brushless motor for fast and efficient work.

Charging times vary between 2 and 3 hours

The high lightness prevents overstressed the Operator during the cutting operations, thanks to its 900 g weight (battery included).

The pair of scissors has two cutting control modes:

• Progressive cut
• Non-progressive cut

When the pair of scissors is switched on, non-progressive cutting is the default mode. To change mode, it will be necessary to hold down the trigger for two seconds until a sound is heard, indicating that the cutting mode has been changed. In progressive cutting mode, the cutting aperture can also be adjusted. To do this, the blade must be brought to the desired opening and held for 1 second. An acoustic signal will sound to indicate that the opening has been memorised. Press the trigger twice in quick succession to reactivate scissors with the new opening, a confirmation beep will sound again. Instead, to return to the maximum cutting aperture, the trigger must be held down until two beeps are heard, a single one then three in sequence.

The procedure is however explained in the instruction manual.

At the top is a display showing both the battery percentage and the number of partial and total cuts.

The handle is extremely comfortable. The rubber that has been used make it a non-slip handle, ensuring a solid and stable grip, even in case of more demanding situations.

FULL CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE BATTERY LIFE: the charge of the lithium-ion batteries does not fade. Unlike nickel-cadmium batteries, which power gradually decreases, lithium-ion batteries, cells maintain constant power throughout the entire cycle. The same charge for the entire cycle without reducing the motor speed. The battery is running at full power until its complete exhaustion.

LONGER CHARGE LIFE: lithium-Ion batteries last 3–4 times longer than traditional Nickel-Cadmium batteries and their power storage lasts longer, so they lose less power. Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged up to 2000 times!

LIGHTWEIGHT: Lithium-ion batteries have the best power-weight rate. They weight 1/3 of nickel-cadmium ones.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY: Lithium-ion battery-powered tools are recyclable and are produced without heavy metals.

NO MEMORY EFFECT: lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time without negative memory effect. Indeed, they don't fail to provide maximum power even after hundreds of charge cycles.
