STIGA SV 415 E electric scarifier

The Stiga SV 415 E electric lawn scarifier is a semi-professional product, thanks to its robust steel blades and 1500 WATT motor.

It consists of a professional roller with no less than 20 tempered steel double blades that can penetrate the soil and aerate it.

A great feature of this scarifier is that it can also be fitted with a spring rotor.

ATTENTION:

Before the aeration process, the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric engine and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)

* The right time for this is spring, after the very first shave and depending on the area and type of climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

Dual function rotor

This lawn scarifier is equipped with 2 different types of rotor, easily interchangeable, for different operating modes.

Both rotors are included in the packaging.

Rotor with springs

recommended for the “aeration process”.

With this rotor, the turf is combed lightly thanks to its steel spring design, which pinches and pulls away the felt and moss (also preventing regrowth).

It consists of a sturdy plastic roller fitted with 40 springs.

Rotor with blades
Recommended for the “scarifying process”.

This rotor type allows a more intensive lawn care thanks to the possibility to work the soil in depth. Indeed, the 20 sharpened blades penetrate vertically the lawn allowing the complete removal of moss, felt and weeds.
This feature ensures a lawn that is regenerated, enhancing its oxygenation, drainage and uptake of nutrients.

It is equipped with a steel roller with 20 highly-sturdy double hardened steel blades.

The replacement of a rotor with another is easy by only unscrewing 2 screws.

This machine can be used both with or without a collection bag.

The 50 L bag for collecting debris is provided on standard equipment.

Operating without the collection bag: with the proper rear deflector, the torn old felt and aeration residues are deposited on the ground.
