The Stiga Combi 55 SQ self-propelled lawn mower is designed for the care of medium and large domestic and residential surfaces.

This model is mainly used for regular lawn maintenance: its collection, discharge and mulching functions make it particularly suitable for those who need a versatile and sturdy product.

The 201cc Honda GCVx engine guarantees constant power and low fuel consumption: 3.82 kW at 2900 L/min,  4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine, designed to combine power and reliability even during prolonged periods of work. 

The traction transmission ensures easy movement even on sloping or uneven surfaces.

Simply press the lever to automatically raise the machine to the desired height thanks to an internal spring system.

To lower it, press the lever downwards. Once the desired height has been reached, release the lever to lock the lawn mower at that height.

Cutting system with grass collector:

The lawn mower is equipped with a large 70 L canvas and plastic bag, which is very easy to remove and empty.
The lower part of the bag is made of plastic, which gives it sturdiness and solidity, preventing the canvas from tearing when it comes into contact with the ground.

A practical handle is located at the top of the bag to facilitate removal and emptying when full.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

Allows you to cut grass and deposit it directly at the rear of the lawn mower, without using the grass collector. 

Simply remove the grass collector and the rear discharge system will automatically start working.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

for cutting grass without collecting it, pulverising it very finely before depositing it on the ground.

Immediate conversion:

• remove the grass collector
• insert the mulching plug provided
• lower the rear deflector to enable the mulching system

MULCHING:
Mulching is a cutting system that shreds grass clippings and then releases them back onto the lawn, so finely chopped that it looks as if they have been collected. This eliminates the problem of disposal, reducing effort and drastically shortening mowing operation. As the grass decomposes, it turns into water (grass is 80% water) and nutrients for the lawn, thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, please remember that, in order to ensure the absolute efficiency of the system, the lawn must still be watered and there must be at least one grass clipping per week.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

for cutting grass without collecting it (even grass that is slightly taller than normal, given the high disposal capacity of the side discharge deflector)

Leaving the mulching plug in place, so that it blocks the rear grass discharge, simply lift the black side cover on the housing and insert the supplied side deflector with a simple movement.

The LAWN MOWER is designed for cutting grass exclusively in gardens (and not on other types of terrain), characterised by level surfaces without irregularities, free of stones or other solid objects. The machine is intended for grass kept as a lawn (i.e. no uncultivated/spontaneous grass), which should be cut regularly, avoiding growth beyond 25/30 cm (which most lawn mowers are unable to cut). Avoid slopes greater than 15% (≈9°), except for 4x4 models.

For more demanding jobs, characterised by wild grass or grass taller than indicated, or surfaces that are rougher than a garden, consider the alternative product categories "Petrol Brush Cutters" or "Brush Cutters".

Please also note that grass should only be cut when both the lawn and the ground underneath are completely dry. Only cut the grass in dry weather, well away from rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon when it is not saturated with morning moisture. Wet grass tends to bend under the weight of the cutting blades, reducing the effectiveness of the cut, increasing the risk of clogging in the cutting deck and putting excessive strain on the engine.
