The SIMPATICA manual leaf remover is a machine which meets the needs of small farming activities. It is principally used for olives, but it can also be used for grains, chickpeas, broad beans, etc.

The strength of this manual leaf remover lies in its ease of use: as it doesn't require any type of power supply, it can be used in any situation, and as it isn’t powered by a motor, it can be transported easily, keeping its weight extremely low.

It takes up little space and can be transported thanks to its folding structure.

The legs can be folded and the machine can be disassembled into two parts, allowing storage with minimum space requirements.

Operating the machine

The operation is easy and efficient and takes advantage from the undulating motion of the rack to quickly clean the olive harvest from any type of unnecessary material like leaves and other impurities.

The olive crates are poured into the first grid, which has the primary purpose of separating the olives, which fall on the lower shelf, from the twigs, which remain on top of the grid.

This grid is also equipped with a tipping device to empty all the accumulated twigs onto the ground.

The olives, once fallen on the tilted surface below, tend to roll towards the exit opening, directly into the crate or container which have to be placed under the conveyor.

This surface is also made up of a special grid that has the purpose of separating the olives from the leaves, which fall completely to the ground passing through the slits in the grid. The flow and discharge of the olives, as shown above, is facilitated by means the wave-like movement manually engaged by alternately pushing and pulling the upper part of the leaf remover.
