These tools are in great demand for those who, because of a steep slope or long distances, might find it difficult to move a normal engine-driven air compressor. The advantage of the self-propelled feature of these engine-driven air compressors is therefore particularly evident uphill, as the traction makes transport much easier. In order to achieve the same comfort downhill, these machines are also equipped with a special disc brake to provide a better hold during operation.
