The Oliviero Flex PCT Premium Cordless olive harvester and shaker is an excellent choice for olive harvest. Designed to ensure high efficiency and ease of use, this device is equipped with two 21.6 V lithium batteries. The carbon structure of the telescopic pole makes the device lightweight and sturdy, facilitating use even for prolonged periods without fatigue.

The telescopic design of the pole allows you to adjust the length to suit different working heights.

The display allows you to choose between 4 modes of use depending on the type of tree and olive to be harvested.

The horizontal movement of the prongs ensures effective and gentle harvesting, reducing the risk of damage to the branches and the olives themselves. This makes the harvester ideal for harvesting in both small olive groves and larger plantations.

Constant speed, variable power depending on the resistance encountered by the head in the tree.

Each time it is switched on, the machine automatically sets itself to S (Standard) mode, the most commonly used mode, as it offers an excellent compromise between performance and battery consumption.

E mode (Eco) is recommended for harvesting young plants in order to reduce the risk of damage.

The higher modes P (Performance) and H (High) provide greater power: H mode, in particular, is recommended for poorly maintained plants or those with dense vegetation, where resistance on the rods is high and additional power is therefore required.

Oliviero Flex PCT features 6 collecting rods made of AX01, a new patented material with exceptional elasticity and flexibility, unlike other olive harvesters on the market that use carbon or plastic teeth. These prongs are 35 cm long to allow them to penetrate deep into the plant.

Movement of the prongs: given their particular flexibility, the prongs bend under the inward or outward movement of the head of the olive harvester, simulating the action of a whip.

The six harvesting rods move in groups of three in a symmetrical manner . This movement mechanism allows the olive harvester to penetrate the most difficult plants, ensuring a very effective harvest, while also minimising vibrations and optimising the balance and ergonomics of the machine.

Thanks to the new rod technology, this machine increases productivity and reduces damage to the plant, with a maximum opening of 60 cm and a minimum opening of 10 cm.

The Oliviero Flex PCT is equipped with an efficient power supply system, thanks to an integrated and interchangeable 21.6V battery. It comes with an Energy Kit that includes two 97Wh batteries. The battery charger included in the kit has three independent charging ports, allowing multiple batteries to be charged simultaneously and optimising preparation times.

The 21.6V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (like modern smartphone batteries, it has no memory effect) so that it is always ready for use. It lasts on average 3 times longer than a normal battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charge indicator.

The advantages of the electric motor:

• More reliable than a combustion engine, thanks to its electric motor. It has no spark plugs, filters, fuel pumps, carburettors, etc., i.e. components that are prone to problems.

• Zero maintenance, for the same reasons as above
• Lower consumption and drastically reduced operating costs compared to combustion engine models (cutting can be carried out with just a few pence worth of electricity). Furthermore, there is no need to constantly procure fuel (which should always be fresh).
• Zero vibrations, again thanks to the electric motor. On the other hand, almost all combustion engine systems, which are not equipped with anti-vibration systems on steel springs, have a very high degree of vibration, making the work very uncomfortable.
• Zero fumes, zero damage to the environment and, above all, to the health of those who use it.
• Much quieter and therefore more pleasant to use than combustion engines.

• Eco level (E): reduced battery consumption, suitable for young plants and easy-to-harvest olives;
• Standard Level (S): Excellent performance-consumption ratio, suitable for standard harvesting;
• Performance Level (P): Higher productivity, excellent for olives that are difficult to harvest;
• High Level (H): Maximum productivity on all types of plants and olives.

Those who work continuously without ever turning off the machine (others take care of the nets and olives) can work for about 2.5 hours without interruption with one battery-powered unit. Those who work in the traditional way, taking care of some of the nets, can extend the battery life to up to 5 hours of work.

When using an olive harvester, the choice of battery-powered depends on the practical needs of the user. The main differences between a base-mounted battery and a backpack battery are mainly related to freedom of movement and autonomy. The base-mounted battery is more manoeuvrable and lighter, but offers reduced autonomy. On the other hand, the backpack battery guarantees longer working sessions, although it can be more cumbersome in confined spaces.

Battery-powered units mounted on the base of the product offer greater freedom of movement. The lack of bulky cables improves agility when working among trees, making the olive harvester easier to manoeuvre. These battery-powered units are generally lighter than backpack batteries, reducing operator fatigue and simplifying transport of the device. In addition, handling is more intuitive, requiring no additional equipment such as a backpack. However, one disadvantage is that they have a very limited range and often do not allow a full day's work to be completed on their own.

On the other hand, backpack lithium batteries, while adding some bulk, provide greater energy capacity, extending the operating time of the olive harvester without the need for frequent recharging or battery changes. Their superior capacity allows for long work sessions without interruption. Furthermore, shifting the weight of the battery to the back reduces the direct load on the arm and body, better balancing the overall weight of the equipment.

However, battery-powered backpacks can be less ergonomic and uncomfortable in tight spaces or during rapid movements between trees, and the presence of the cable can be an obstacle or a hindrance during operation. Finally, constantly carrying the backpack can cause greater fatigue in the long term than a solution integrated into the base of the product.
