This multi-socket was designed for resolving the problem of having to power high absorption single-phase equipment (especially those with high inrush) with a generator with an high power in KW (for example 5KW, 7KW or 8KW).
Any single-phase generator, even if very powerful, can deliver through the schuko sockets and the 16A industrial sockets a maximum of 3.8 KW. Therefore, if equipment with a higher absorption is applied to these sockets, when they are started up, exceeding the absorption of 3.8KW, they will make the thermal switch of the generator relating to these sockets turn OFF.
This multi-socket should therefore be applied on power generators with high power expressed in KW (but not more than 10 KW) and equipped with a 32A industrial single-phase output socket (capable of expressing a single-phase power up to 7.2 KW without jumping the relative thermal switch).
It will thus be possible to connect any equipment with high absorption on the output sockets of this multi-socket (both schuko and industrial 16A) avoiding that the overload switches of the generator can be triggered, thus having the possibility to operate with the single-phase generator of the equipment that in the starting phase can get to absorb up to 6 or 7 KW.
