The MTD OPTIMA 38 E electric lawn mower is a top-of-the-range product thanks to its high-quality manufacturing and, in addition to an attractive design, it offers a wide range of technical features. It is easy and intuitive to use and manoeuvre and features a great quality/price ratio.

The housing depth ensures an excellent mowing and high grass collection performance, as the large grass collector will have to be emptied rarely.

Easy to manoeuvre and compact, it is ideal for cutting grass in medium-sized areas up to 350 s.q. m. thanks to its 38 cm cutting width. Ideal for mowing lawns without the bulk and weight of a petrol engine.

The MTD Optima 38 E electric lawn mower is powered by a 1600W motor and provided with a sturdy reinforced polypropylene housing (ABS) made of cast.

WARNING: the electric cable is not included in the purchase, this accessory can be purchased separately.

3 Cutting systems

The machine is a traditional 3 in 1 lawn mower equipped with mulching, rear discharge and grass collection system with 30 L grass collector.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM: this system allows mowing without using the grass collector, discharging the grass clippings directly from the back of the lawn mower.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM: immediate conversion: simply remove the grass collector and enter the mulching plug, which automatically activate the mulching cutting system.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

Controls on the handlebar

The controls of the lawn mower are placed on the top of the handlebar.

Focus on the switch with safety system for ensuring optimal protection to the Operator while using the machine.

After use, the lawn mower can be easily stored, thanks to its foldable handlebar and wing nuts.

The lawn mower is equipped with two convenient handles that allows easy storage of the machine.
