The Mowox PM 4645 S Trike self-propelled petrol lawn mower is a powerful and versatile cutting tool.

It is equipped with a treated steel housing that prevents corrosion and rust. It features a 46 cm cutting width, and it is powered by the Mowox DG 450 4-stroke engine.

This cutting tool is equipped with a centralised cutting height adjustment system in 6 different positions from 25 mm to 75 mm and a large 60 L grass collector.

This lawn mower is equipped with a high-wheel system. The wheels, with a diameter of 200-280 mm, are mounted on ball bearings, and they are perfect for medium-sized uneven areas.

This lawn mower also stands out for its 3 wheels: 2 self-propelled rear drive wheels, and a front pivoting wheel. The single front pivoting wheel ensures extreme manoeuvrability compared to the standard lawn mowers on the market. GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM:

The lawn mower is equipped with a 60 L plastic and canvas grass collector, easy to remove and empty.

The lower part is made of plastic, which gives strength and sturdiness, avoiding the canvas to tear if in contact with the lawn.

Convenient handle placed on the upper part of the grass collector to make it easy to remove and empty when full.

The grass collector full-level indicator 1 2 allows the Operator to easily know when it is necessary to empty the grass collector.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

This system allows mowing grass without collecting the clippings inside the grass collector (it is also possible to collect grass a bit higher than normal, due to the high disposal capacity of the side discharge deflector).

Leaving the mulching plug entered, in order not to occlude the rear discharge of the grass, simply lift the black cover on the housing side and enter the side deflector supplied with a simple gesture.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

This system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector, and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.

Immediate conversion: you will just need to pull out the grass collector, enter the standard-supplied mulching plug, and lower the rear deflector in order to engage the mulching system.

WHAT IS MULCHING:
mowing system that shreds the grass cuttings and subsequently releases them onto the lawn, crushed to such an extent that they are barely noticeable. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

The semi- centralised cutting height adjustment is incredibly fast and intuitive.

Simply press the proper levers on the rear and front wheels to lift automatically the machine up to the desired height thanks to the internal spring system.

To lower the machine, move the levers downwards. When reached the desired height, release the lever to fix the lawn mower at that height.

The lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in garden areas (and not on other types of terrain). The surface must be level, free from irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (therefore, not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most lawn mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

For heavier-duty tasks involving spontaneous vegetation, grass taller than the above-mentioned limits, or rougher surfaces than a garden, please consider alternative product categories such as Petrol Flail Mowers or Brush Cutters.

Furthermore, grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, which reduces cutting efficiency, increases the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjects the engine to excessive strain.
