The GYS GYSMI 200A welding machine is a single-phase coated electrode (MMA) inverter welding machine. Equipped with the latest IGBT technology, it guarantees a precise and stable arc start, with high-quality welding on materials such as steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm thick. Operation is extremely simple thanks to the intuitive control panel, with welding intensity adjustment from 20 to 200 amps.
The machine body has a compact structure made of technical plastic and metal, in light grey with black and yellow inserts. The design is functional and meticulous in detail, with an integrated top handle and shoulder strap for transport. Its low weight of only 3.6 kg and small size allow it to be easily placed on shelves or trolleys, making it ideal for use in confined spaces or on construction sites. It is compatible with generator sets.
The Hot Start system facilitates the initial arc ignition, while Arc Force and Anti-stick technologies intervene during welding to prevent accidental shutdowns or electrode sticking. The device works with rutile, basic and stainless steel electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 5 mm. The thermal protective system, which is CE-compliant with EN 60974-1, guarantees operation at up to 60% of the duty cycle at maximum power.
The main distinctive features of the welding machine are listed below:
- IGBT inverter technology: guarantees excellent arc stability and uniform metal fusion even with difficult electrodes;
- Compatibility with generator sets: allows use even in environments without mains electricity, ideal for on-site work;
- Lightweight and portable: only 3.6 kg with handle and shoulder strap for quick and easy movement in all working conditions;
- Hot Start, Arc Force and Anti-stick functions: improve welding efficiency and reduce user errors during critical phases;
- Compatibility with different electrodes: welds on steel, cast iron and stainless steel with electrodes from 1.6 to 5 mm, offering great operational flexibility.
